BLACK FRIDAY 11-23-07
What would you do for a $300 laptop retailed priced at $500? or a video game that is difficult to find, but yet have to compete against a hundred other people for that last copy? Well, I ended up lining up in front of Circuit City the night before Black Friday along with a few friends and relatives of mine. The night was cold, but fortunately we did not have to wait THAT long (2 hour wait) compared to hardcore consumers that camped out in front of Circuit City TWO nights before it opened. Anyway, once we got in, we got most of what we wanted: DVD's, video games, and other accessories. Unfortunately, I didn't get my wireless router. There were many people, but not as much as I had expected. The experience was a different one, there was trash all over the floor and if there had been at least 50 more people inside the store everyone would be trampling each other. Overall, it was a memorable experience full with eager customers, tedious waiting, cold weather, angry people, and plenty of money spent...And I am ready to do it all over again next year.
